Hearts set to appoint Vrancken

Hearts are set to appoint Wouter Vrancken as their new head coach.

He led Sint Truiden to third-place in the Belgian Pro League last season and has managed 331 games during his coaching career across five different clubs.

The 47-year-old won the Belgian Cup with Mechelen in 2019 and finished runner-up in the country's top flight with Racing Genk in 2022/23.

Derek McInnes left to take charge at Rangers after guiding the Tynecastle Park side to a second-place finish in the Scottish Premiership last season.

Dons make bid for Tilley

Latest from Your Site News' Amar Mehta and Mark McAdam:

AFC Wimbledon have made a bid for Wycombe's James Tilley, Your Site News understands.

The 28-year-old attacking midfielder has one year left on his current deal and the Dons are interested in bringing him back to the club.

Tilley was on loan at AFC Wimbledon last season and previously spent two years there between 2023 and 2025. He came through the Brighton academy, before moving to Grimsby.

He has also had spells at Crawley, Cork City, Yeovil and Dorking

Alvarez tells Atletico he wants to leave

Argentina forward Julian Alvarez has said he wants to leave Atletico Madrid to "fulfil his dream", which is understood to be a move to Barcelona.

Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in Alvarez, but his preference is to join Barcelona, who have been pursuing the player all summer.

Relations between the Spanish clubs do not appear to be in a good place after Atletico mocked Barcelona over their attempts to sign Alvarez last month.

Atletico do not want to sell Alvarez and have been digging their heels in over the future of their star man, but the 26-year-old made his intentions clear after Argentina's 2-0 World Cup win over Austria on Monday.

"I spoke with people at the club, with those I had to speak with and the best thing for everyone is a transfer and I want to fulfil my dream," Alvarez said.

"It's not the time to talk about this, but I also can't hide it. I try to be an honest person."

Reading announce signing of Kyreece Lisbie

Reading have completed the signing of Kyreece Lisbie from Colchester United.

The winger, who scored 11 goals and recorded five assists in League Two last season, has signed a four-year deal.

The 22-year-old now makes the step up to League One - where his twin brother Kyrell Lisbie plays for League One Peterborough.

They are sons of former Charlton and Leyton Orient striker Kevin Lisbie

'Rogers keen on Arsenal switch'

Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers is keen on a move to Premier League champions Arsenal, according to talkSPORT.

One of Arsenals top priorities this summer is signing a left-winger and, as Your Site News reported at the start of the window, they have been stepping up their interest in Villas Rogers as they explore the conditions of a potential deal.
